Hit the Monkey Trail! Ride along on your own ATV or share one with a friend if you don’t want to drive or don’t have a license. Guides start by giving you clear instructions on how to drive the ATV’s and providing safety gear before taking off on the back roads into the Guanacaste hillsides.

An amazing experience! In this charming tour go out and explore the beatiful landscape of Matapalo beach in Guanacaste, by the same driveway to go at Riu´s Hotel.  In the Beach there is a shortstop for a beautiful view of the sea, also you can enjoy some time in the water if you are wearing bathing suit. In this charming route surrounded of the beatiful dry forest of Guanacaste you can also see a lot of wildlife of the region such as monkeys, birds, iguanas and more . 

Experienced guides will show you the back roads and hidden trails for two hours before returning to the tour start point.  Ask our agents about kid-friendly ATV tours for children ages 6+.
